Overhead door has been honored to make and donate numerous buddy benches for the Bully buster campaign. The program is aimed at Stopping Bullies, One School at a Time.

Thames River Community Service Program is a local New London based program that clothes and feeds homeless families including adults and children. Overhead Door has been honored to donate toys, gifts, and accessories to this program for the last several years. Check out a picture from our last donation drop off!
Overhead Door Salesman and Rotary Group Member Paul Blanchard recently volunteered at the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center in New London, CT. Paul and the other members of the Norwich Rotary Club spent the day feeding families and individuals from across our community. As a active member of the The Greater Chamber of Commerce Norwich Club as well, Paul frequently volunteers his time at local food banks that donate two million pounds of food each year!
Overhead Door team member and salesman Robert “Bob” Smith is a active member of The Northeastern Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years. As a local resident of this area Robert volunteers his time to continue the expansion and development of the local Northeastern Connecticut business area.
Both Shawn Amell & Gary Wolinski are actively involved and are annual donators to the Toys For Tots foundation. The foundation is run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. Each year Shawn and Gary take part in this charity events and this year was no exception! If you are interested in getting involved contact us today.
Both Shawn and Carol Amell who make up half of our ownership team are actively involved with their local Lions Club whos mission is to help the visually impaired, locally and around the world. The Colchester Lions Club also supports local community programs. By participating in fundraisers we promote these goals and contribute to the community in which we live.
